Field Rafting

Alpine Rafting is located minutes from Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden and is just a few hours drive from Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise, Radium Hot Springs and Revelstoke. A variety of packages are offered, including half-day, full-day and overnight trips that range from Class 1 to 4+ rafting. Since 1984, they've guided over 90,000 people down the Kicking Horse River. With this many years in operation comes experience. From the fleet of eye-popping candy red rafts to their selection of trips, they've spent the last 26 years honing the experience they provide. Rafting trips are suitable for all ages and abilities, ages 4 and up. Transportation to Golden is available from Field and Lake Louise.

In operation since 1992, this company offers white water rafting trips on the Kicking Horse. Expect one-and-a-half-hours on the river over 14 sets of exhilarating rapids. Tours end with snacks and beverages. Trips depart from their base between Field and Golden, or catch their shuttle bus, which departs from Lake Louise.
